Job Description
As part of the Worldwide Training Center (WWTC) Technical Training Team, you will have a great opportunity to be instructor and mentor to students (customers and Field Service Engineers) on NSR systems. You will be able to increase your skill level on newer NSR systems by participating in training in Belmont and Japan.

Most of the training is conducted at our WWTC in Belmont; however, instructors are also sent to customer sites where there is a need for training, both in the U.S. and other parts of the world. You will participate in Content Development as applicable, learn the latest e-training techniques, and enhance your ability as a leader in WWTC operations.

Job Requirements
  • BA/BS Degree preferred. Certificate/Degree in education/training preferred. Applicable experience may be substituted.
  • Willing to work M-F 8-5 or shift work and paid OT as required.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good understanding of technical instruction methods and techniques.
  • Requires 1-2 industry or equivalent years experience in delivering technical training.
  • 1 year technical experience on Nikon NSR systems helpful.

We provide state of the art optics and high performance imaging equipment for the Semiconductor industry. Our unique microlithography technology produces the semiconductor chips that power up your cell phone, computers, iPods, PDAs and other emerging technology products. While most other companies build their support programs around their equipment, we design ours around the needs of our customers.

As the Senior Manager for Technical Communications you will lead the technical translation and documentation teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing people, processes, and projects in a global company. The key focus of this role will be to lead the continuous improvement process to ensure that methods of translation and documentation remain state-of-the-art. The role also requires the ability to gain consensus with people at all levels, across functions, in a highly multicultural workplace. As the Senior Manager the person will ultimately be responsible for providing accurate and timely technical documentation to various groups within the company.

Job Requirements
  • 8 to 10 years experience in technical publications/translation management
  • Knowledge of current publishing technology, especially XML
  • Familiarity with capabilities of translation software
  • Understands semiconductor technology and requirements for support of semiconductor equipment
  • Experience with enterprise content management systems

Education Requirements
 M.A. or M.S in a relevant area, or the equivalent combination of a college degree and relevant training/experience
