Mari Shoji | Chief Executive Officer and President & Senior Vice President of Business Development and Commercial Operations for Nikon Precision Inc.
Ms. Shoji has over 35 years of experience with Nikon Corporation and has held critical leadership roles in Sales and Marketing for the United States, Europe and Korea. She has also been Co-Director of Strategic Customer Accounts in both the United States and Europe. She holds a Bachelor’s from California Lutheran University, and brings with her vast market knowledge and tremendous experience within the semiconductor industry.

Ms. Shoji has over 35 years of experience with Nikon Corporation and has held critical leadership roles in Sales and Marketing for the United States, Europe and Korea. Ikuo Ogawa | Senior Vice President, Engineering Services and Customer Support
Mr. Ogawa has enjoyed a long work history spanning over 30 years at the Nikon Group. During that time, he engaged in duties such as conducting production engineering for developed semiconductor equipment, as well as carrying out system development and advancing the shift to mass production. During his Nikon career, he has served in numerous roles including Manager of the Semiconductor Equipment Division within the Engineering Department and Vice President of Engineering Support at Nikon Precision Europe.
Shinji Wakamoto | Vice President of Technology and Engineering
Mr. Wakamoto has worked for over 34 years at the Nikon Group. He has deep technical expertise and has contributed greatly to the system development of Nikon Step and Repeat (NSR) systems. In fact, he started his career by joining the development team of S201A, the first scanner of NSR. Since then, he has held various roles in customer support and technology development, with a focus on immersion systems. He holds a bachelor’s degree in physics engineering from the University of Tokyo.
Tomohiro Harada | Vice President, Office of the President
Mr. Harada joined NPI in October 2024, bringing more than 35 years of work experience in the Nikon Group across various departments and subsidiaries, including business planning, accounting, and sales. In the Precision Equipment Business Planning Department, he was responsible for mid-term business plans, budget preparation, and business management. In his role at NPI, Mr. Harada leads the Information Technology (IT), Business Finance & Planning, and Accounting Departments.
Steve Barnett | General Manager, Service and Supply Chain
Steve has over 40 years of experience in leadership positions, including a background in aviation, and aircraft mishap investigation. For almost three decades, Steve has served NPI in leadership positions within the Service and Engineering departments, mostly in the Installation and Planning areas, and is an expert in Fab Site planning and semiconductor equipment installation. Steve has undergrad and graduate degrees in business administration and computer information systems, respectively, from The Ohio State University.
Laura Wiggins | Director, Human Resources, Marketing & Communications
With over 15 years of experience across high-tech and aerospace industries, Laura brings strength in organizational development and cross-functional leadership. Her experience spans key areas of human resources, with a focus on driving alignment, efficiency, and managing change across the enterprise. She attended California State Polytechnic University and the University of Massachusetts and holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration. In alignment with NPI business goals, Laura leads initiatives and programs that shape the company’s culture, brand, and employee experience.
Conor Sickel | General Counsel
Conor is an experienced In-House Counsel and former Commercial and Employment litigator, with substantial experience working in advanced tech manufacturing and handling a wide variety of regulatory compliance, commercial and employment issues for employers. Conor is also well-versed in international trade and the ever-evolving field of data privacy/cyber security. After graduating with his degree in business administration from the University of Missouri, Conor achieved his Juris Doctorate from Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology and holds attorney licenses in both Illinois and Oregon. In his role, Conor is responsible for overseeing all legal matters affecting the company, including corporate governance, compliance, risk management, employment matters and contract negotiation.
Harumi Sawada | President of Nikon Precision Europe
Harumi Sawada joined Nikon Corporation in 1991 and has been a part of the Precision (Seiki) Company for more than 28 years. He has held several roles in Sales and Marketing, across the Precision Business Unit including time as the Sales Manager for Korea. Mr. Sawada held the position of President for Nikon Precision China (NPC), before assuming that role in Nikon Precision Europe GmbH in 2019.
Stuart Pinkney | Vice President, Sales EU & US
A professional in the electronics & semiconductor industries for more than 35 years, Stuart started his career at Nikon Precision Europe in 1991, initially in the Service department, before joining the UK Sales team a few years later. Stuart held several management positions across Nikon Precision Europe, including Technology and Marketing, before adding the US Sales role to his area of responsibility in 2010. Since 2012 Stuart has been the Vice President of Sales for Nikon Precision covering the EU and US markets.
Derek Adams | Vice President, European Administration
Derek has over 35 years of experience in the semiconductor industry and joined Nikon Precision Europe in 1990. His career prior to joining Nikon was in the test of radar systems. He entered Nikon as a field service engineer and also held roles as installation manager, key account manager and VP Customer Support Operations before now oversees the administration, accounting, legal and IT functions within the organization covering the offices in Ireland, Scotland, France, Germany, and Israel.
Brian Phillips | Vice President, Customer Support Operations
Brian has over 29 years of experience in the semiconductor industry and joined Nikon Precision Europe in 1995. He entered Nikon as a field service engineer and also held roles as installation manager and key account manager before being responsible for all customers within Europe. He now heads the customer support operations for Europe, encompassing service, applications, technical support, and materials.
